The Bass Guitar
Little is known about Jay Leathers, except that he was playing bass in Berlin on the same day the wall
came down. Coincidence? We thinks so.
Guitar, vocals
Originally from the UK, David's been playing in and around the Atlanta
area in various bands for the last 5 years ranging from Bluegrass to rock.
Vocals
Jane is originally from Cardiff. Before joining the band she spent a
number of years traveling with friends. She now works as a receptionist
for a travel agency.
The Drums
In 1975, Eric Reinders carried his precious comic book collection in a
huge suitcase down to London to sell at a Comic Mart. With the resulting 41 pounds,
he bought a drum kit, the snare of which resembled a biscuit tin. But he was the only
15-year-old at Rushcliffe with a drum kit of any kind, so he was the go-to drummer when
punk became popular among middle-class suburbanites. The pop and punk scene in 1970s
West Bridgeford is the subject of his blog,
At Hull University he played in funk bands. He sold his last kit in 1982 and did not
pick up sticks again until last year.
Guitar, vocals
Snail hails from Boston, Massachusetts. In the mid-80s he formed the
New Jersey-based band "The Wild and Crazy Ducks" and introduced the
world to the new genre of duck-rock. His immensely underrated albums,
including the two-album set "The Saga of Bob" (featuring the very
underground hit "Your Name Is Bob") attracted only subliminal attention
despite the genius of their musical and lyrical innovations, so he went
into hiding.
